The client is seeking to recruit Assertive, Dynamic individuals to fill the position of:

Documentation Clerk


Position Overview:

To offer Exceptional Customer Service to all our Air & Ocean Import customers and agents in an efficient, timely and friendly manner.


Essential Job Functions

- Entering of Ocean or Air documents

- Stripping of documents

- Notification of customers

- Handle customer queries

- Process payments - Attend to walk-in customers (collect cash, issue receipts, and deliver documents)

- Communicate with foreign agents via email

- Entering of excel summary totals

- Assisting the bond with certain queries

- Filing copies of processed documents

- File delivery slips after shipments are cleared

- Any other related or assigned duties


Requirements – Qualifications/Experience

- High School Diploma (CXC or O’Level) inclusive of Mathematics and English

- Knowledge of documentation handling

- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in shipping/cargo handling industry

- Reporting                  - Documentation                     - Data entry                 - Customer Service
