is offering this vacancy notice on behalf of its client as follows:

The client is seeking to recruit Assertive, Dynamic individuals to fill the position of:

REGISTRATION CLERK (Conveyancing) 

JOB OBJECTIVE:

The incumbent is required to ensure the stamping and registration of deeds of release, memoranda of transfer and memoranda of discharge. 

Minimum Requirements

-       At least 5 CXC General passes (including English Language) or equivalent

-       2-3 years’ experience in a similar position

Major Responsibilities

     -       Prepare documents for stamping and registration and return registered copies to the Manager – Conveyancing & Mortgages

     -       Facilitate execution of mortgage bills of sale and chattel mortgages and prepare letters and bills relating thereto

     -       Attend at the Registrar General’s Department to register Deeds, Bills of Sale and Real Property Ordinance (RPO) Instruments

     -       Prepare miscellaneous letters and affidavits

     -       Order certified copies of documents as required

     -       Assist with queries in relation to RPO registry

     -       Assist in stamping and registration of Bills of Sale / Chattel Mortgages

     -        Any other related duties that may be assigned

 

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

      -       Knowledge of deeds  and conveyancing

      -       Knowledge of the process of stamping and registration of documents

      -       Knowledge of company incorporation document

      -       Knowledge of clerical systems and procedures such as word processing and records management 

      -       Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette

      -       Ability to provide excellent customer service

      -       Ability to multi-task and manage time well

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to speak often to internal and external customers over the telephone and face to face.
