Accounts Clerk 3 ( General Ledger)



Job Title:        ACCOUNTS CLERK III (GL)


Reports to:     Accountant

Department:  Accounts


Job Summary:


To provide support to the AP/AR/IC/GL Modules in the carrying out specific tasks assigned as necessary in the process of our monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. To carry out research and analytical work as assigned in the execution of our annual financial audit. To perform administrative duties as required.



Essential Functions & Basic Duties


1.      Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.

2.      To reconcile local supplier accounts.

3.      Variance Analysis.

4.      Clerical and administrative functions

5.      To assist in any other duties as required, inter alia.



Qualification, Experience & Skills:


  • A minimum of (5) GCE O’Level passes grades A or B or CXC passes Grades I or II, including Mathematics and Accounts.
  • CAT Level 2 or 3 A Levels including Accounts
  • Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), knowledge of the Internet and communicating via Electronic Mail.
