NEW CAFE OPENING IN DIEGO MARTIN

The job incumbent is required to assist in all areas of Café operations, inclusive of the preparation of food items and beverages, cash handling, maintaining a clean environment and providing exceptional customer service. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pleasantly greet and engage customers
  • Take and serve orders, providing information and suggestions on menu items where necessary
  • Prepare food items as required
  • Prepare hot and cold beverages as required
  • Follow all food safety, health and sanitation procedures as advised 
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming  and sanitized Café at all times
  • Receive payments and issue receipts to customers
  • Perform any other duties, as assigned by the Manager 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
  • A minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a customer/ food service environment
  • Certification in Culinary/ Hospitality/Food Service will be considered an asset 
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional and courteous disposition
