Brick Lane Cafe - Cafe Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities

·         Create weekly Café shift schedule, ensuring proper coverage at all times

·         Oversee all cash handling procedures throughout the day, inclusive of assisting and balancing as needed

·         Conduct the inventory and ordering of both food, beverage and paper products

·         Ensure that all food safety, health and sanitation procedures are enforced

·         Assist with the preparation of food and beverage items as needed

·         Address both employee and customer concerns as they arise

·         Ensure that exceptional Customer Service is demonstrated at all times, training attendants as needed

·         Seek out and maximize revenue opportunities and minimize costs

·         Control costs without compromising standards and customer experience

·         Develop a culture of actively seeking feedback from customers on a regular basis

·         Open and close the establishment daily  

·         Performs any other duties, as assigned by Owners

Qualifications and EXPERIENCE

·         A minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics

·         A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a customer/ food service environment

·         Associate Degree or Diploma in Culinary/ Hospitality/ Food & Beverage Management would be considered an asset not needed

·         Previous experience in a Supervisory position would be considered an asset
